Withey’s Track

Withey’s track links with The Pack and Tramline Tracks, climbing steadily before dropping to Wairahi stream.

Named after Bill Withey who was a steam hauler operator for the Kauri Timber Company, the 1.5 hour Withey’s Track links with the Pack and Tramline Tracks forming a round hike from Whangaparapara. Branching off Tramline Track, it climbs steadily before dropping to Wairahi Stream, crossing three times (no bridges) before linking with Pack Track. Beautiful bush and stream views.
