CLASS 4 and 5 Drivers 

Based in East Tamaki SeaLink Logistics is part of the SeaLink Travel Group transporting goods to Waiheke Island 8 times per day, 7 days a week. FreightLink has been operating for over 25 years and is the largest freight provider to the island performing multiple services. These aren’t your mundane transport runs. The routes we have will see you head over to the popular holiday spot of Waiheke Island on a regular basis.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Driving a range of units from Class 2 to 5
  • Auckland metro pickups and Waiheke deliveries
  • Reversing onto vessels
  • Coupling and uncoupling trailers
  • Navigating narrow roads and confined areas
  • Vehicle loading and unloading

To be successful in the role you will need to have the following skills, qualifications, and experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years Class 4 / 5 driving experience
  • Good knowledge of Auckland Metro
  • Dangerous Goods and forklift endorsement
  • Physically fit
  • Clean record, good communication skills, presentable and a team player

Hours of work are based on a minimum of 40 hours per week, there is a requirement to work additional hours during peak times, including summer. Start times can vary from 1am to 6am, Monday to Friday, with finish times varying from 1pm to 6pm dependent on the freight run.

Forklift Operators x 2

Based in East Tamaki, SeaLink Logistics is part of the SeaLink Travel Group transporting goods to Waiheke Island seven days a week.  FreightLink has been operating for over 25 years and is the largest freight provider to the island performing multiple services.  

Due to an increase in workload we are seeking two experienced, well presented Forklift Operators to join our friendly team. 

The role involves:

  • Vehicle loading and unloading as per the loading code
  • Locating and moving products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
  • Identifying damages and reporting shortages or quality deficiencies
  • Completing pre-start checks for forklift equipment and identify the need for repairs
  • Ensuring safety by completing regular maintenance checks
  • Helping to maintain a safe and organised workplace
  • Complying with company policies and legal guidelines
  • Being a reliable team player and available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week

To be successful in the role you will need to have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Proven experience as a forklift operator
  • Warehousing experience
  • A current forklift license with an ‘F’ endorsement and a full drivers’ licence
  • Be physically fit with excellent coordination
  • Attention to detail and confident with industrial equipment
  • Strong communication skills 

What we can offer:

We offer a minimum of 40 hours per week however there is a requirement to work additional hours during peak times.  Hours of work are typically between 6am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Revenue Manager

The Revenue Manager is a newly created role that grow revenue for the Group by optimising fare, scheduling and margin levers.

What will you do?

Our client is a service provider in the transport industry. They work in both the business to business and business to consumer arenas. The Revenue Manager is an important new role that has been created in order to support the business with fleet, fare and scheduling optimisation.

Reporting to the Group Sales and Marketing Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Analysis of a range of metrics to determine current performance and forecast future performance
  • Effective communication of recommended strategies to enhance optimisation and revenue
  • Work cross functionally to execute tactics and strategies
  • Competitor analysis
  • Engage with external stakeholders to gather current market intelligence
  • Engage with senior stakeholders across the business

Your background:

  • Graduate in business, tourism or hospitality degree
  • At least 3 years’ revenue management experience
  • High level of numeracy, business acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Good attention to detail

Hospitality Manager

The Hospitality Manager is a newly created role for an ambitious and driven leader. This is a broad role in a multi-site environment based in East Auckland.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will see you lead a team of 12 across multiple sites.

What will you do?

  • Recruitment and training of staff to provide outstanding customer service
  • Managing suppliers, stock management and purchasing
  • Reviewing product offering and identifying opportunities to drive revenue
  • Working with marketing to develop and run offers and promotions
  • Maintaining safety and health standards, work with compliance bodies to achieve and retain top standards
  • Managing the operating budget, track spending, labour costs and wastage

What will you do?

  • Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram and other social media channels that will promote and attract customers
  • Develop and update content across website and intranet
  • Produce both proactive and reactive communication to customers
  • Review and analyse data to drive optimisation and improve reach

  • Deliver targeted marketing campaigns

Your background:

  • Graduate in Business or Marketing
  • At least 3 years’ digital marketing experience, including content management, social media management, SEM & SEO management

Maritime Quality Assurance Manager

Reporting to the Maritime Operations Manager, the Maritime Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring the company’s vessels and crew are fully compliant with Maritime, local body and Health and Safety legislation.


Accountabilities include:

  • the management of training plans, qualifications, SOPs and quality systems (including overseeing the implementation of a quality standards programme i.e. ISO9001); risk management and stakeholder relationships.

Your background:

  • This vital role requires extensive applied knowledge of New Zealand Maritime and Health and Safety regulations, experience in implementing quality management systems and leading training/coaching in these areas
  • To be successful in the role you will need to be proactive, solutions focused, forward thinking, highly organised and have the ability to foster effective stakeholder relationships.
